Bring balance to school board

Thousand Oaks Acorn
September 20, 2012

I will vote for Tony Dolz for school board because I think the board is politically biased.

According to Julia Brownley’s website, Nancy Pelosi and both school board incumbents running for reelection, Peggy Buckles and Betsy Connolly, have endorsed the liberal Democrat for Congress.

Superintendent Jeff Baarstad endorsed liberal Democrat Steve Bennett for Congress earlier this year (before Bennett dropped out of the race).

You dance with the one who brought you to the party.

The school board is dancing with the agenda of the …

Dolz for CVUSD board

Ventura County Star

I am voting for Tony Dolz for the school board. He cannot be more clear. He wants parents to play the commanding role in their own children’s education. Mr. Dolz has children in our schools, the incumbents don’t.

Mr. Dolz is involved day after day with his children and the teachers who serve the community. On the other hand, the incumbents without children in our schools, rely on second-hand and outdated information.

I hope our community votes for Tony Dolz for Conejo Valley Unified School Board.

He will improve our public schools, which will not only be beneficial to our children but help the local economy and real estate prices.

I read Tony’s letter in the Acorn (Sept. 13). When the incumbents and superintendent endorse liberals for office that is strike one. Building a new high school using money that could be used to prevent more education spending cuts is strike two. When the …
