ABOUT TONY DOLZ
For more than two years I have put my business and personal life on hold and dedicated myself to our national security and to responsible, sustainable and controlled immigration policy.
My name is Tony Dolz. I am a Cuban-born Hispanic legal immigrant who attained naturalized citizenship through the legal process. I am married to a Danish-born legal immigrant. We have two children, a 6 year old boy and an 2 year old girl. My wife and I run several online businesses from our headquarters in Santa Monica , California . Our products include soft-soled baby shoes and a large selection of unique children's products from US, Australia and Europe ; alternative health products; international capable DVD players and luxury Scandinavian Mouscous down and bedding items. In addition to managing our businesses, I am on the Board of Directors of two companies, StoneWall Partners, a venture capital company investing in high tech intellectual properties and Hollywood Mobile, a news and entertainment content provider for portable mobile and wireless devices. In my role with StoneWall Partners and Hollywood Mobile, I advice on industry trends and the viability of companies and their intellectual property portfolios in consideration for investment, acquisition and expansion.
I possess over 20 year of experience in international business development and forging strategic partnerships. I hold an MBA degree in Internationa Business. I lived and worked an important part of my life in Sweden and the rest in Norway , Denmark and California . My industry focus is Information Technology and Telecommunications. I am driven by my passion for all things technological in a global marketplace. I worked six years for the State of California as a Southern California Director of the Center for International Trade Development Center and Director of the International Business and Technology Center . I have many years of experience organizing international events and conferences for business matchmaking. I organized and lead trade mission. While working for the State of California and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, I worked and negotiated with politicians, diplomats and CEO's of companies in furthering business and economic development. I have organized orsponsored numerous global conferences and summits.
Currently I assist my wife, to the degree possible in the business development for a number of companies that my wife and I hold jointly.
Although English is not my first language, I have less of a problem than our Senators, our Congressman, most of our State Assemblymen and State Senators and many in the media understanding the meaning of the word “ILLEGAL”.
For example, it is illegal to violate our borders; it is illegal to hire illegal aliens; It is illegal to use a false Social Security card for the purpose of gaining employment; it is illegal not to pay taxes on earned income; it is illegal to aid and abet illegal aliens; it is illegal to use false declarations to obtain a California drivers license; it is illegal to drive without a drivers license and without insurance; it is illegal to feign California residence to avoid paying out of state tuition at our schools and it is illegal to receive tax-paid social services which only citizens are eligible to receive. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, illegal immigration costs California $10.5 billion. I would like to shave much of that improper use of California tax-payer's money and use it to lower the cost and improve the quality of education and health care in our State.
One can be proud to be a legal immigrant, as my wife and I are, but it is illegal and anti-American to be an illegal alien. To be against illegal immigration is not to be confused with being against legal immigration. It is patriotic to demand that our elected representatives secure our borders for the safety of ALL Americans. To demand that our immigration laws be uniformly enforced and that our government act responsibly is not racist.
I am one of the founding members of the Minuteman Grassroots Movement and an the California Legislative Liaison and Greater Los Angeles Chapter Leader for the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. The Minutemen and women are grass-roots volunteer group opertating within the law todemand that our government protect our borders and keep us secure as a nation. I put asside all my business interests and began serverving to protect our country's national security in the Arizona desert in April of 2005. The Minuteman goal is to force our President and the Congress to secure are borders and to enforce the immigration laws that are in the books now. 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in our country is prove positive that our government does not enforce the laws and despicably, that they do not want to enforce the laws.
For more than two years I have put my business and personal life onhold and dedicated myself to our national security and to responsible, sustainable and controlled immigration policy.
I have leadership and negotiating qualities which have proven successful even on the most difficult of multicultural business environments. California 's economy is one the top 20 largest economies n the world and it relies largely on foreign trade for its economic strength. I am confident that my personal and business activities are
beneficial for our State's economic, political and social interest.
For a thoughrough understanding of my motivation and my plan
for improving the quality of life in California , I invite everyone to visit my website at www.dolz.com
